OUR STORY
Nestled in the magical woods near Whitefish, Montana, Blue Star Resort and Retreat is a powerful place for inner and outer connection. Whether you're facilitating deep inner work or planning a special celebration, our beautiful property and overnight accommodations are a supportive center for group based activities.
Waking up at Blue Star, you’ll have access to our one-mile loop hiking trail in the woods, our year-round creek that winds through our land, communal fire pits and reflection areas around the resort. Ask us about how to book a session in our traditional Finnish sauna, outdoor cold plunge, yoga classes, guided meditations, sound healing sessions, and more.
We love Montana. Since we opened Blue Star Resort and Retreat 8 years ago, we’re proud to share the gifts the Treasure State has to offer with people devoted to experiencing the magic alongside us. We’re called to open up the heart and soul of this land for select group events, families, and inner journeys so that this place may be a co-creation between the natural setting and the people.
We can’t wait to welcome you here,
Tanjariitta & Jen

"This place is incredible! Oh and a beautiful running CREEK right outside your door! Quiet and secluded enough to feel like a retreat but super close to some great restaurants in downtown Columbia Falls."
-Julia

"This cabin is so great! The other reviews are right - the place is even better than the pictures portray. It's super clean, comfortable and peaceful. The best part is the property it sits on - 20 acres of MT forest with a babbling creek right behind the cabin, which is like having a natural sound machine at all times!"
-Chrissy

This place was our favorite out of all the places we stayed during our journey. The property is gorgeous! Everything was so clean and well maintained. If you are in the area this place is a must stay!
